    Sprint All Star Fan Vote

Maybe it seems creepy to you, but to me it isn't hate and bitterness. I felt the same way toward MW also. I would hope that fans would want to vote in someone based on ability and popularity instead of just her being a mid pack driver.

Rate The Crazy Race: All Star Race

The racing was pretty good and some were really pushing hard that I'm not used to seeing. The thing I didn't like was the mixups on the rules. It was like a circus. Not the right place to ask the question, but why was the 18 car numbered as 75?

    Showdown RACE thread

Yeah she's been a real whiz in Nascar and Indy. Person should be so proud of a driver that is on a well funded team and still is lucky to end up mid pack race after race. She couldn't even beat the wrecked/repaired cars. Sorry but I don't see anything to be proud of in her efforts so far.

    Sprint All Star Fan Vote

And they should be. Shouldn't be there based on her being a woman that runs mid pack and whines all the time. Hardly the definition for an all star.

I'll double on that. This do nothing is in while those that were competitive will be sitting. I'd be voting for the car that will have a chance of being competitive in the race not run midpack and probably whine about she couldn't get a break or whatever.

    2016 Charlotte - All-Star Race - Pre Race Thread

Trouble is there are others coming in while they are out. Spinning is a lot more possible, so I disagree there IS a safety issue here.

Really ?? Danica? Come on this is an all star race not a midpack race. There were others out that were running decent and sit now while she will go out and ride. Man I hate this kind of crap.

when did alcohol stop becoming a major sponsprship in nascar?

Can't complain about him celebrating, but I guess PC comes into play somewhere along the line. I've acted a lot dumber and for a far dumber reason so I certainly won't knock it.

    Ricky Rudd reflects.....

Kind of ironic for Dale to complain about being spun and saying that Rudd should be fined and have sit out. I liked Dale for being a hard driver, but he knew that he would have done the same thing, and had before, and never bat an eye.

    2016 Charlotte - All-Star Race - Pre Race Thread

Yeah it might be exciting, but I can't see placing unprotected crewmen on the road to play dodge em with the cars. They already have cars having near wrecks, brushing crewmen and so on. Increasing the speed limit I can see since sometimes it looks like they are going so slow.

The latest to be bit by the new lug nut rule

I believe what the teams were upset about in the first place so Brian put it in their hands. So then they went to only doing 3 or 4 lugs, of course the teams whined about Nascar not being safety minded and when Brian put the rule in to have all 5 on and secured this safety minded teams still...

Dang good thing NASCAR mandated the five lug nut rule

But the drivers and teams, including stewart was so concerned because they said it was a safety issue. I agree with you though because the drivers will have to come in if it starts coming loose. That is why I was hoping Brian would tell the teams that they were unhappy when Nascar pulled them...

Dang good thing NASCAR mandated the five lug nut rule

So they were whining about the rule before because of safety, so Nascar went back to letting the little babies have their way. Now they are still not doing all 5 until the end of the race. I think in the video that they said they make sure they do all five on the last stop because Nascar...

Bonehead of the Race - Kansas 1

Not if it was Brad making the move between Matt and Hamlin. People would be crying foul all over the place.

Mark Martin won the 2007 Daytona 500

And you can probably find as much or more evidence that he won or improved his position when maybe he shouldn't have. Just face it the book said that he didn't win. End of story. That is the only thing that counts.

Junior Nation--How many of you didn't like Sr.?

Didn't care for Sr. that much in the beginning but gradually grew to like him. Jr. seems like a really nice guy, but he has ridden his Dad's legacy for being popular. Until the last few years I had doubts for his desire to win a championship. The problem was always somebody else it seemed...

    Talladega RACE thread

After last year especially I lost a lot of respect for Matt. Joey let him back in or risk a penalty. However for Matt it seems like that Joey is going to be his on stock excuse for a problem. Matt needs to understand that with the chase everybody is going to be pushing the limits, including...

    NASCAR on Fox

If they'd get rid of both of the Waltrips things would be goo. At least get rid of the doofus Mikey and his pit walk. Seems to me that even a lot of the drivers don't want his dumb ### there either.

As if the Chase isn't already a joke; Tony's substitution takes it further

Nascar opened a bag of worms when they gave Busch a waiver. If a driver is already in the chase and stays high enough in the points then I guess the rules would be that as long as the points driver started then things would be OK. I have less of a problem like in Busch's case where it was...

BREAKING: NASCAR requires all five lugnuts to be tightened

If it is such a safety issue then why were the teams doing it? Surely they care about their driver and the other drivers right? Surely they don't want to tear their cars or other cars right? Surely even if the tires were only secured if three the tire would just suddenly fly off? Of course...
