    SILLY SEASON 2018

Personally pulling for Bubba. Speculation here but he might be the reason that they look as if they are staying. They loved what they saw when he was in the car.

    SILLY SEASON 2018

I would say they will be on the RCR 43 but nothing in stone yet. Could go either way. I feel that way based on last week's article alone.

    SILLY SEASON 2018

Based on what I have talked to folks about no. That's all I can say. Smithfield holds the cards.

    SILLY SEASON 2018

Yessir, those hero cards were even printed up as I remember it. Kasey even drove an xfinity race in a 43 Toyota at Charlotte. I try to forget that!!! LOL

    SILLY SEASON 2018

I feel your pain. I have had to deal with the 43 being a Ford for the last seven seasons. If Gillett would've had his way it would have ended up a Toyota. As a fan of Dodge it was hard especially before they left. From RCR's perspective, they are never going to again be Chevy's number one...

    SILLY SEASON 2018

43 to RCR in 2018, RCR to Dodge in 2019.

Kyle Busch is 20 wins Away From Tying Richard Petty at 200.

And the King saw no need to run in every series he could just to stroke his ego. I recall him running Winston West and Iroc, I don't recall him running Sportsman or USAC. I hope KP sticks up for his Dad cause Busch is an arrogant ---- fill in the blank that will never have Petty's impact.

    Is Bubba Getting the #43?

As far as the Dodge part, there were some Charger bodies at the NASCAR R and D center in recent weeks just according to hearsay. It was not on the podcast. Why? I don't know. Just a wait and see I guess, but the rumors won't die.

    Is Bubba Getting the #43?

A good chance. I think Aric's already checked out, however rumors have popped in the last week the 43 will be a Chevy next yr out of RCR and a Dodge when RCR shocks the racing world by 2020 and leads the Dodge return. Those rumors aren't dead.

    Dodge won't return to NASCAR

None of that really concerns me. As long as what we buy works for us its all good and I will not turn my back on them. Loyalty is everything to me.

    Dodge won't return to NASCAR

I don't even consider the Fiat part, if people can accept toyo, then just get over Fiat!! My family has owned mostly mopar my entire life. Not a bad one in the bunch.

    Dodge won't return to NASCAR

You are right. That's why NASCAR is actively doing everything they can from their end to get them back.

    Dodge won't return to NASCAR

Your point?? He is in charge now. It was a poorly written piece with nothing new except for a quote from someone who would not go on record. A a writer myself if you can get someone to put their name on it it means more. I did not read it as a never no way no how proposition. I read it as a...

    Aric Almirola

He is headed to the 10 for next yr more than likely. Bubba will get 43 then.

    Dodge won't return to NASCAR

That says very little. It does very little to dissuade me from thinking they will be back by 2020. Which should coincide with the Gen 7 car. There are no official quotes from Sergio in the article. So I wouldn't give up just yet.

    oh Them Woods Brothers

What somebody says and what they do can be two different things. I trust nothing until the press conferences. Saying I want to does not at this point = I am staying.

    oh Them Woods Brothers

That's a good point. Could very well use the 88 situation as contract leverage. One thing I am sure of I fully expect a big name proven winner in the 88. It won't be someone like Patrick or a rookie.
