The Little Valkyries That Could are the first ever WNBA expansion team to make the playoffs! They clinched it last night with a win against Dallas. I'm so proud of them! ^_^ https://www.espn.com/wnba/story/_/id/46161843/valkyries-first-wnba-expansion-team-reach-playoffs-inaugural-season

I'm not surprised or even disappointed, really. It's just the right thing to do. I would be much more disappointed to see her try to pull a Hail Mary, rush back too soon, and end up with an even worse injury. You'll never see this, but Caitlin, rest up, get better, and come back stronger next...

Keep scrolling - that was my initial take based solely off of a vague Spun piece. All I wanted to know was what the actual issue is. HB's NY Post article got the job done. I get it now. Reese talks too much at times. IMO, vent about the roster or your individual teammates or whatever in private...

I was smart this time and didn't click on the On3 article, LOL. The Spun, Athlon Sports, and On3 are all part of the Axis of Clickbait. Reese was apparently automatically suspended for one game for picking up her 8th technical foul, as per the rulebook. Okay, cool. :lol2: The NY Post article...

I don't follow college hoops, and The Spun's "article" doesn't mention any of that. If you're gonna write a headline about Reese being called out for off-the-court behavior, then state what exactly she's done that's supposedly being called out. The bolded and smoky speculation isn't good enough...

    WNBA 2025

As usual with The Spun, this is a clickbait headline, with nothing even remotely controversial in the actual piece. They couldn't even specify what exactly she has done off the court that has been dramatic and horrible enough to be called out and even admitted that, as of this moment, she...

Phee and Minnesota were lights out against Dallas yesterday, which isn't surprising, but man, the StudBudz were swishin' and dishin'. They combined for 35 points and 19 assists, 20 and 10 of which were Natisha Hiedeman's. Let's go, Tee! ^_^

I have absolutely no idea what Indy will do with their roster. It's way too early for me to call with this likely crazy free agency period coming. If I was Indy's GM and somehow managed to keep all of their current forwards/bigs and then obviously kept CC, Kelsey, Lexie, and Sophie, then I...

    WNBA 2025

As wild as the previous offseason was with regard to player movement, the upcoming offseason will likely be insane, since pretty much all of the vets will be free agents. I don't envy any of the GMs and powers that be right now. Also, last I heard, the players and the league were pretty far...

I say both, if they can keep them. If not, whoever they can hold onto.

I think they'll probably still pick Phee for MVP in the end, but both A'ja Wilson and Alyssa Thomas have made strong cases for themselves. A'ja's had some insane individual performances this year, and Vegas has finally gotten its act together. AT has had plenty of incredible performances of her...

The fact that Alyssa Thomas plays this game at such an elite, record-breaking level with two torn labrums is just...I don't even know what other adjectives to compliment her with at this point. It feels like they all fall short of doing her justice. I've never seen a player like AT before. I...

Ehh, that's your opinion to which you are obviously entitled. Mine is that, having not seen the game during which this graphic was shown and having not heard any conversation that happened behind it, this is merely a comparison between two of the best bigs to ever do it and an up and coming...

I give Indy credit for not lying down and quitting no matter who's available to play on any given day. They're well coached, and if you beat them, the win was hard-earned.

Glad to see Phee back for Minnesota. She had a great game, as usual. I did a double-take when I saw Aerial Powers's name in the box score for Indiana from yesterday's game. They signed her to a 7-day hardship contract after Golden State waived her (shocker) before I even knew she was there...

I swear, HB, you watch basketball with the biggest chip on your shoulder. It's wild. I've never seen anything like it. :lol2:

Odyssey Sims has a groin injury. Thankfully, it's apparently not a serious injury, and she's likely to play in the game against Minnesota tonight.

Atlanta beat NY today. Sabrina Ionescu didn't play due to a foot injury. Coach Brondello said she'll hopefully be back next week.

Big ups once again to Alyssa Thomas, who finished with yet another triple-double in a Phoenix win over Golden State yesterday. She had 13 points, 12 boards, and 16 assists. The 16 assists broke the previous franchise record for assists in a game.
