Hey guys, since I was a kid I wanted to race but we never had the cash to get into go-kart racing. :( So anyway, now I have some spare cash laying around and I would like to break into racing. I'm not aiming for building a monster or trying to win a bunch of races I just want to be able to run...

Am I the only one that likes the paint job on his car? Reminds me of motor-cross so much and he's easy to pick out in the crowd. :) I hope he does well on the non-plate tracks. I'm going to try to watch more Nationwide races this year they seem to have gotten a lot of good talent into that...

They kinda teach you that, there was nothing but smoke ahead of him and no time to react to a spotter. He probably charged in and hoped to drive through. His other option was to lock up the brakes and get rear ended. There is no way he could have known ahead of time that his split second...

Once again I missed it, but I'll make one anyway: Mark Martin wins the race today and finally gets his first win in the Daytona 500. I'll also go as far as to say he'll also win the Brickyard 400 for the first time. Go Mark and good luck to everyone!

In light with all that's leading up to this race; - Last nights terrible wreck - The GEN6 car begin really tested for the first time today - The catch fence and how it could be improved in the future. - Improvements to the cars themselves that could be made to make things safe for the fans...

First off I want to say that I'm not fully up to date but I hope that everyone is okay and what happened today was terrible. I watched the entire race and I knew it was bad when they were not showing replays. I saw a car with everything from the firewall forward missing and I knew it was going...

He did well, we were rooting for him and I think he did well for a rookie. He generally tried to stay out of the way because he knew his limits and was just trying to learn how to run in the draft. No one seemed to really want to hook up with him and draft for too long, couldn't get any help...

The driver is part of the team, when they dock points they aren't docking the "drivers points" its the "teams points". Plus, when you're talking about multi-million dollar race teams a 100k fine is like a slap on the wrist. Docking points hits them where it really hurts.

While I agree, I've also seen what Meth can do to someone. If I was living in the same house as someone doing meth I could tell right off, maybe not the first day but when it gets to a certain point you'd have to be blind not to see what it was doing to the man. I'm not saying she's doing it...

Jeff Gordon, that's just how I was raised. Before anyone gets started, we hated Dale Sr. too. (RIP :() Still respect both of them for begin some of the greatest drivers to grace the track though!

Yea I plan on taking Dad to Bristol one year soon, he's always wanted to go but he won't go if he doesn't get good seats. He's funny about where he wants to sit. >.> I've heard Bristol has some pretty awful seating now, is that true? I've never been to a race there in person. Maybe Dover...
