I don't dislike Chase, he seems humble and good-hearted. But a poor man's Mark Martin. Don't ever see him winning a championship (or 2nd a bunch of times) let alone winning 50 races.

Dale Jr is like Roddy Piper in his later years, the biggest star but hardly wrested cause he sucked at it. But he had the Piper's Pit and was a master showman.

Also remember Dale Jarrett coming back from many laps down in one race, way before the lucky dog. DJ was just sick dominant for a couple years.

I grew up on the Terry Labonte/Dale E battles at Bristol. Reminds me of the Keselowski/Busch Watkins Glen battles. Good stuff

How did Ryan Damn Newman ever win 8 races in a year? Weird how these drivers fall off the face of the earth and can only win fuel-mileage or rain cancelled races. I can understand a down year or two but after 5+ years of mediocrity you aren't a good driver. I guess the cars have changed so much...

I thought only Xfinity ran in the rain. I vaguely recall talk about the "fake wipers" they installed a few years back but honestly don't remember any Cup rain tires. Nascar needs to find ways to make driver skill the main factor in winning a race.

More of the top drivers may go to Indy or F1 (or F-E if tree-hugging hipsters) if pay goes too low. Most of them are only in Nascar because it's the richest option.

That would be a dream come true. One of the better races would become the best.

No mention of rain delays, what? Makes no sense for 3pm starts if no lights, any downpour brings a likely Monday finish.

They can't field a competitive car with the Toyota aero/HP advantage this year, what would they offer?
