I was wondering if the NASCAR website would not have the leaderboard up for this race, or if MRN radio would not broadcast it. I think I have my answer because it isn't on their website.

I think that Blue Nova might be Cody's Nova. I will have to show his dad the pic and see. He does a lot of car shows with it in California and Arizona. I haven't seen it in a few years, and I just don't remember what wheels he has on it.

Today Tony qualified #1 for the first time on his top fuel car.

Tony Stewart is now leading the NHRA championship points 71 points over Shawn Langdon.

This is pretty impressive. Tony has been in the final round 4 out of the last 5 races with 2 wins and 2 R-ups. His cars performance has improved dramatically, and his lights have been pretty good. Today he was only eliminated in the final by .007 MOV.

This has been my favorite race weekend for many years, and this year is no different. My first choice would be to see Larson win a double. Second choice would be to see Larson win the 500 and Bowman win the 600. If Larson doesn't win the 500, then I hope either Newgarden can go 3 in a row or...

What another crappy year for Graham Rahal. Not running good and then blowing a motor on carb day. At least his company GRP is doing very well.

The winning wiener failed post race inspection. It was leaking mustard on the track.

If I were ever going to lose my job over an illegal part I would at least want the part to have had a valuable effect on the performance of the car. This one doesn’t seem to be doing that 😃

Penske must have left the illegal part on the cars for carb day. 😃
