I'm 29th but "only" 94 points back of the leader. It could be a lot worse. If I can start making good picks, there is a chance I can make a run for the championship.
It looks like this year's champion will have a relatively high average points per race.
I've been making my picks week by week, while putting some thought into them. The result? I'm having one of my worst seasons in this game.
Most seasons, I just submit all my picks at once to start the year. It proves that this game requires some luck.
Kudos to @kkfan91 for his amazing...
I'm bummed for Preece, wanted to see him get his first win. He had it if it wasn't for the lapped cars. I'm sure he'll have more chances for wins in the near future; he has been consistent this year and the best RFK car.
Austin Hill is the luckiest driver in the history of NASCAR. I'm amazed how he's able to pull off these wins out of nowhere. He obviously puts himself in position, so skill is also a factor.
The guy isn't on the radar for Cup, yet he keeps getting rides because of these insanely clutch wins...
I've changed my mind, Bonnett and Gant deserve to get in because of the age factor. Kurt and Jeff will have plenty of time to get into the hall of fame themselves.
Kurt Busch and Jeff Burton would get my vote. Busch is a past champion, that gives him some cushion over the competition. Burton had a great career, was an iconic driver in his prime.
I don't know much about the pioneers, so I'm not going to vote on that.
I mean, the team is 23rd in points. I don't think their struggles have much to do with Rodney. He's one of the best at his craft, letting him go in the middle of the season is a puzzling decision, to say the least.
Kasey Kahne looks sharp. Looks like his head injuries are a thing of the past. He had a great car until the accident, might've had a shot to win the thing.
