PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

No, I am saying that at the end of the day there was only a few drivers that actually ran out of fuel. I have listened to enough driver radios to know that they are frequently told to "save" fuel. It happens in practically every race so it's just part of racing these days. Yesterday's stage 3...

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

I thought it used to be bad we had to deal with all those pesky commercials, but I would have gladly exchanged those to get the gerbils to stop talking about “fuel.” Good grief how much time was spent on something that ultImately affected only a driver or two?

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

That's what get me is the "losing money" bit of all this. Let's see, I own a rental property and charge a fair market rent. I actually "lose money" each year on my tax return because I have expenses, mortgage interest and depreciation that offsets my rental income. That loss then offsets...

    College Football 2025

That was the year the Buckeyes won by about 30 points over the team up north and on their ground. The next year Michigan decided they were too scared to play the Buckeyes in Columbus so they called it off. At least we have never stooped that low. We got this in 2025. :D

    Lets discuss Carson Hocevar

He does appear to have some skills driving the race car, but we have heard this story before many many times. Perhaps most recently was Ty Gibbs. This is Gibbs 4th year and approaching 100 races in a cup car with no wins and only flashes of greatness. Let's not get too carries away with this...

    Dirt Track Racing News

Back in the day it was really popular for late models. Fremont and Sharon on Saturday nights rarely run late models. Given Matt's background I am thinking this might be his initial approach. It will be interesting to see if they go with weekly shows or special event shows like Millstream.

Larson overtakes Elliott has top merchandise seller

Here's my deal with Larson. The guy literally lost everything after what happened in 2020. I might be mistaken but he was in the process of building a new home. Him and his family had to sell out and turned to short track racing to make a living. Fortunately for me 2020 was the best...

    Dirt Track Racing News

Very interesting and hope he can resurrect this track. I spent a lot of time there in the late 70s early 80s. It was a reintroduction to sprint car racing for me around 76. I sat in the stands jaw dropped as Bobby Allen and Rick Ferkle decimated the rest of the field. They put on a show I...

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Nashville

I was entertained from start to finish and on the edge for the last 25 laps. Just kept waiting for that caution. Have to deduct two points when the race leader can't/won't pass cars running in position 25 - 30 for 30 laps at the end of the race. 8.12

    The Announcers Thread

They got some issues to clean up with the ticker and excessive background race noise. Wished they would just stop with the gerbil affects and over dramatizations.

Bonehead of the week: All-Star race

That's certainly a fair point and I don't disagree that Preece should have been aware. Nontheless, it clearly should have been more visible which resulted in them painting it before the ASR.

Bonehead of the week: All-Star race

Flip side, NASCAR for not having a visible choose arrow. When I first saw what happened we had to go back and watch again because we hardly could make out the choose arrow on tv.

But, Amazon Prime also requires an internet connection capable of streaming. That adds $ to the cost to make it similar to a cable package.

Johali's Rate The Race Thread: North Wilkesboro (aka NASCAR Hogwarts)

    8. Can’t go higher because of the impact of the clown throwing a caution flag on the track near the end of the race.
