23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Nascar has made a decision, not the committee.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I can't see where it hurt the competition at all. If anything it ramped it up. Did it question the legitimacy of the champion some years? Definitely. They had a championship committee this year and that seemed like a disaster. Never could reach a consensus.

    2026 Silly Season

I wonder if ford has had enough of him or Toyota seeing something? I can't see it being a stepping stone to get to cup in a Toyota

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

The problem is when owners have more input and say in things it generally comes at the cost of competition. The RTA is the main thing standing in the way of making performance changes to the current car. IMO this sport needs to be a dictatorship. At the end of the day someone needs to have...

Besides Rev who likes Denny? I can respect his talent, but I think the guy is an arrogant jackwagon.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I miss the old days where you just showed up with a car and if you were fast enough you made the show. This lawsuit makes me wish we still had Dale Sr. He would have never let the train get this far off the tracks.

And yet they still haven't actually said what they want out of this thing

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I'm pretty sure that neither side wants to settle this is just a game for when they go to trial. "We spent several days trying to reach an agreement, but the other side isn't willing to reach a settlement"

And they may also lose the sport. If you relinquish the charters on a permanent basis there's a real fear that large investors (foreign or domestic) buy the majority of the charters and make a forced take over. Like someone else mentioned look at the PGA. When nascar owns the charters they...

    2026 Silly Season

Heard it a couple times now so where there's smoke you think there has to be fire. Sounds like daniel suarez to the #7 next year. The 7 car seems like such a train wreck he might be better jumping down a series

You have to use the spec motor for the truck series. As far as I'm aware Ilmor doesnt have a cup motor available

    2026 Silly Season

I wonder where Ty goes next year and who is in the #10. Sounds like the RCR/Kaulig alliance is done at the end of the season because the Ram deal.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

If it was just permanent charters then why does Denny continue to say "we want our fair share"? The reason they have to renegotiate everything tv deal is that's because that's where the vast majority of the money is coming from. Nascar and the tracks have a lot of fixed costs, if they money is...

It would be nice if the teams just came out and said what they are trying to accomplish. The narrative seems to change

Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

I lost so much respect for Matt that day. The Kansas thing was Matt desperate to win a race and blocking like crazy to the point he ran Joey into the wall at one point. IMO that's one of those FAFO moments. Now coming out of the pits several laps down to wreck the leader, that's some Bowman...

    Cup RACE thread --- Talladega

It had some many lead changes because everyone was in max fuel save and didn't want to lead. It was like they were daring each other to take the lead. Let's get real the pack has slowed down 2 seconds a lap. Anyone who wanted it could have led

    Why no #28 car?

I don't care what anyone says, everyone is superstitious to some level.
