    2026 Silly Season

Connor Zilisch would be the one to get it assuming Jr. Motorsports doesn't figure out a way to go Cup racing by '27.

    2026 Silly Season

No surprise there. Bowman is the one that needs to be worried.

    Penske Cleans House

Like I said in the 500 thread, if Penske wants to have any kind of credibility, he should can somebody at the top. He did that and then some.

    Nascar Hall of Fame Winners

I'm not saying Gant isn't deserving. I'm saying others should have gone in before him. Like Parrott and Larry Phillips. Congrats to all three.

    2025 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500

This had to be done if Penske was ever going to regain credibility. The media should ask him if he knew anything about what was going on. This is the trouble you run into when a car owner also owns IMS and a piece of IndyCar. Some of these that were canned may have thought they could get away...

    Nascar Hall of Fame Winners

He won 49 Cup races. Not many crew chiefs can say that. Those that can are already in the hall of fame.

    Nascar Hall of Fame Winners

I love Harry Gant. I think he's beyond cool. But for me, less than 20 Cup wins and no championships is not the best of the best. There are more deserving crew chiefs, etc. that deserve to me in. How come a guy like Buddy Parrott isn't even considered, let alone not getting in?

    2025 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500

Has Penske fired anyone over the St. Pete issue? Will he fire anyone now? Is he willing to fire anyone that's over some of this that has been with him for a long time? Not naming names. But an example has to be set within the organization.

Bonehead of the week: All-Star race

I have a few candidates this week. Ryan Preece for driving over the choose "box". I know it was hard to see. But they do this every week, every driver should know generally where it is. Kyle Larson for tagging the wall in a race winning car. Michael Waltrip for dropping the yellow flag and...

    Joey Logano

Logano has no room to talk. He's gotten into other drivers harder than what Bell did to him.

I thought last night's presentation was the best of the season. Good camera shots and the booth was good.

Big Brain of the Race: North Wilkesboro

Larson might have won that race had he knocked smacked the wall. That was a good call by Daniels.

I noticed that. It's sad. Somebody that cares about racing needs to be covering the Fox portion.

The ongoing development of Carson Hocevar

Ernie Irvin crashed a lot when he came to Cup. That's how he got the nickname "Swervin' Irvin". He settled down and won a bunch of races. I don't think Hocevar is as bad as Irvin was. But I do think he will win races and start soon (see my bold prediction).

The ongoing development of Carson Hocevar

I was sorely disappointed Legacy didn't bother to sign him when they had the chance. He is a bit rough. But I'd rather calm down a driver than try to fire one up that doesn't have that in him.

    The Announcers Thread

You will still be able to get their channels through cable, satellite, or streaming TV service (i.e. YTTV). But you will also be able to buy it as its own standalone streaming service. No other TV service required to have it as far as I know.

    The Announcers Thread

NBC will not put any NASCAR races on Peacock. But you will need USA Network. Cable and satellite companies are slowly dying. An announcement like this only speeds that up. Others will soon follow suit.
