On the podcast, O'Donnell implied 750 is the new minimum and it's possible NASCAR will increase it again with the debut of a new engine manufacturer in three years.

They should be bumping it up to 800 on the shorts tracks and road courses and 750 everywhere else.

I agree it was a good race for the Next Gen car. New Hampshire is the type of track that should have two races, one in June or July and one in October.

Well we know it'll be better than Cup, but I've seen more exciting races. I love that Almirola stole one in the first round of the playoffs.

The Daytona roval on July 4th weekend with all three divisions on the track at the same time would be perfect for the ASR.

I like the idea of throwing Trucks and Xfinity drivers into the All Star race, along with the Cup qualifiers. Otherwise, I'll be on the beach somewhere that weekend.

The Clash should be run on Daytona's roval layout without the front-stretch chicane. If they did that, I'd watch again.

Making the Cup tire the same width as the old tire would probably help, but that's not happening anytime soon.
