    Sophia Floersch Thread

To be clear, I haven't attempted to limit your or anyone else's ability to do or talk about anything on this discussion board. I've simply come along and offered an opinion that happens to run counter to yours. Don't take it so hard, brother. It's not that serious.

To each their own, but I don't know the young lady personally and am not part of her medical team, so I'm unqualified to diagnose her over the Internet. As long as she's happily enjoying living a life that very few of us are fortunate enough to live, I'm good. She appears to be active on social...

Yeah, I feel like Miss Floersch's weight is her business and no one else's. Strange path for a conversation about her to take IMHO.

Yeah, obviously none of Indiana's healthy guards right now are PGs like CC and Aari. That's not their responsibility...or at least, it wasn't until now. Ehh, they just have to get through the Chicago game and then pick somebody up. I'm not familiar with Zia Cooke beyond her name, but Odyssey...

Even when they come on so late that it's hard to stay up for them? :lol2: LOL, to each their own. I'm the opposite and don't have to see things happen live anymore. I catch stuff when I feel like catching it.

Tanking is unnecessary IMO, but somebody obviously has to play PG while Caitlin is out and all the other PGs are hurt (what a wild situation for a team to be in). That's not a small task. If they don't pick anyone up on a hardship contract or something, I'd imagine that Kelsey will be running...

    WNBA 2025

Oof. Do they even have any point guards left? If not, they'll have to see if they can grab somebody on a hardship contract.

Can't win 'em all. Phoenix is a very good team that has also beaten both Minnesota and NY this season. Shout-out to AT, who has been absolutely tearing it up lately. She became the first ever WNBA player to record three straight triple-doubles in that game against Indiana. She's phenomenal...

I take it you don't have League Pass? If not, you should, so you can watch those games on your time, not the W's. You can hide the scores in the WNBA app to avoid spoilers if that's a concern. You could just do that and stay off the forum until you watch the game.

    WNBA 2025

Right. Unless there's some kind of hidden voodoo witchcraft involved that I'm unaware of, and Connecticut's pick from NY originally came from Dallas or Chicago or something and is likely to be an early first-round pick, the trade is pretty much just Aaliyah Edwards for Jacy Sheldon. We'll see...

    WNBA 2025

No, it's not an additional pick. Washington and Connecticut each have, and still have, one of those two aforementioned picks from Minnesota and NY. Washington simply earned the right to swap their pick in question with Connecticut's.
  12. Mr. Gregory

    WNBA 2025

Sure, but my point is, unless I'm completely missing something, neither of those picks are likely to be high first round picks and should likely be around the same number. I believe the draft is based on a team's performance over the past two seasons. Minnesota and NY made the Finals last year...
  13. Mr. Gregory

    WNBA 2025

True, but the pick swap is likely pointless considering that NY and Minnesota are, barring some catastrophic injury situation, likely headed to a Finals rematch. (Connecticut and Washington each have one of those picks - not sure who has which one.)

    WNBA 2025

Yeah, I really don't understand this trade at all from Washington's point of view. I'm really surprised that they gave up on Aaliyah Edwards that quickly, and for another guard when they already have Sonia Citron and also have Georgia Amoore waiting in the wings. I know they lost Sykes, which...

Of course Sophie was targeted after her tweet asking people to stop throwing sex toys on the court. She laughed it off, and I'm not a prude at all, but yeah, this isn't cool. It needs to stop. https://apnews.com/article/sparks-sex-toy-262247e155bdc42388a1319c3c1ac433

I see Sophie as Lexie Hull with an edge, a bonafide hustler and a great teammate that anyone should want on their squad. Indy is a new group. They have a good lineup that has finally built some chemistry. If they want to move some pieces around the edges, fine, but there's no reason to mess...

    WNBA 2025

Azura Stevens is a good player, but trading Sophie is a terrible idea IMO, and I doubt Indiana would do that. There's absolutely no reason for them to panic and make a move like that just because others are making moves. They have a good team already.

Oh my goodness...😳 Man, talk about a bittersweet trade! I'm sad to see Karlie Samuelson go before she really had a chance to do anything in Minnesota (she and poor Katie Lou are both out for the season with injuries), and Diamond had just started to come into her own over the offseason. At...
