It's all subjective, brother, and none of us ultimately get a say in the actual vote. Much like Kelsey Mitchell for you, Phee is my MVP right now, and my mind can't be changed. We can have a conversation, though. Yes, MVP is an individual award, but team success usually plays heavily into it...

The individual player awards are totally subjective, but I actually agree with pretty much all the consensus opinions presented here. The linked ESPN piece is from a couple days ago. There can certainly be a conversation for MVP, but if I had a vote, I'd still have to give it to Phee. Yes...

Respectfully, I understand that emotions are running high, but I've been target practice for your venting in this thread before and am gonna have to pass on doing it today.

Ugh, poor Sophie. Just a complete freak accident that caused her injury, nothing malicious at all. Unreal. There are usually one or two teams who get bit really badly by the injury bug, and I guess it was Indiana's turn this year. It be's like that sometimes. The upcoming free agency could be...

Potentially sometime towards the end of the month.

Looks like Minnesota and NY had another great game yesterday, as usual. Court killed it! ^_^

Yessir, The Little Valkyries That Could. ^_^ I don't know what the powers that be are doing at times letting some of these good players like Chloe Bibby go, but man, what a feel-good story they have been this season. Coach Nakase has them playing better than I think anyone could have reasonably...

Geez, somebody definitely fell asleep at the switch there. :lol2: What my man Ron Thulin on commentary was getting at but didn't clearly state (and that the words on the screen at least did correctly state, LOL) is that Paige has Dallas's single-season rookie assist record, previously held by...

    PG injury problems? Call 1-800-ODYSSEY.

I appreciate your honesty on that. I get why some of you don't like players who are like her, like Marina, Plumber, etc., the spicy, fiery, trash-talking uber competitors. I used to feel the same way back in the day, to an extent.

Does being the current top scorer in the league make her better than CC, though? I dunno about that one. 🤔 It's all subjective, and it's not really a competition between them IMO. That said, from where I'm sitting, Kelsey Mitchell is a great player, but CC makes everybody, including Kelsey...

Nah, it didn't land, and she admitted it. I'll give her small props for doing so (I don't think the joke really matters either way).
  13. Mr. Gregory

    WNBA 2025

So, Kelsey Mitchell is better than CC? :lol2: In all seriousness, it's a video game, and it's a 2K game on top of that. No one is ever completely happy with their ratings.

    WNBA 2025

Muggle, I've long since made the bolded clear on here, and I've long since known who you like, and vice versa, yet here we sit, going back and forth all day about it. This is just silly at this point. Respectfully, please, can we just let it go?
  15. Mr. Gregory

    WNBA 2025

All right, you're hating just to hate at this point. I'm sorry that I happen to like players you don't like, brother. :lol2:

As a great man once said, prepare for disappointment. I still like DiJonai. I just don't like her recklessness. IMO, Plumber and Mabrey are competitors, period. If either of them played for Indiana, you'd love them just as much as you love Sophie.

I started laughing when I saw the beginning of the clip, which only showed the last portion of it with AB's arm extended straight up and in Li Yueru's armpit. I was just like "how? How did you end up in this position?" :lol2: Ain't no slackin' in the post when AB is on the court. She earns her...

    WNBA 2025

You go with whoever you want, Muggle. I apologize for my dumb, inexperienced, and very mildly contradictory, if even that, opinion on the call. :lol2: 🤦‍♂️
  19. Mr. Gregory

    WNBA 2025

LOL, Boston's always getting tied and hooked up like that as she wrestles in the post with her opponent. I'm 50/50 on that call, maybe leaning towards the call that was made. Either she just couldn't get out of the way or Li Yueru has some prime armpit strength. The refs went with the former. :lol2:

Nah, I think Marina's a big girl and can handle some criticism. She's never come across to me as someone who is soft, timid, or minces words. Speaking out in an interview in this manner, admitting that, yeah, she swung out too far, showing CC grace regarding a separate run-in they had, etc...
