2025 US Grand Prix at COTA

Trying to think of something more useless than watching Lando try to pass someone.

2025 US Grand Prix at COTA

I said before that I didn't expect McLaren to fall apart completely but today was a solid attempt at doing so. One more of these during an actual race and Max will be right there.

    Truck RACE thread --- Talladega

That was surprisingly calm for a truck race at Talladega. Unfortunately the Yeley miracle didn't happen.

    Truck RACE thread --- Talladega

I don't think they needed to throw a yellow for that. Now there are gonna be five more.

    Truck RACE thread --- Talladega

Hope Norm is OK, there was fire inside the ****pit for quite some time. Jordan Anderson got some bad burns here a couple of years ago.

Norm on fire like he hasn't been since Eldora 2013.

    OK, I'll admit it.

A bunch of drivers have won in their mid-40s, Kurt was 43 or 44 and would've won a few more of not for that rear crash structure. Kenseth won his last (quite memorable) race at 45, Harvick won two at 46. 6 race wins at 44 didn't happen often though. Harvick had an amazing 9-win season in 2020...

    Euro Series Wtf

I struggle to remember seeing a race car flip NINE TIMES on a road course. The entire bodywork was gone after the incident.

Cup RACE thread -- Las Vegas

That was before my time. Yep but a) that has toned down a lot and b) hating on a guy that can actually win must be more exciting than hating someone who finishes 20th.

Cup RACE thread -- Las Vegas

The ones that hate him will miss him the most. For some folks, hating Denny Hamlin seems to be what keeps their NASCAR fandom alive.

    OK, I'll admit it.

I'm rooting for Denny Hamlin to win this championship. After so many years of being one of the top contenders, he would've earned it. How many other drivers won 6 times in one year as a 44 year-old? Dennis has been extremely impressive this year. A championship doesn't mean that much anymore...

At least I'll always remember how many people lived in Prosper, TX as of 2023.

Cup RACE thread -- Las Vegas

It was just the last 25 laps but this was the first time in about 2 years I've seen a Cup race on a 1.5er Great run to the checkers, this was fantastic to watch.

Cup RACE thread -- Las Vegas

Damn, tuned in just in time to see that beautiful NZ car get destroyed. Cody Ware also got caught up in this.

    Kalle Rovanperä

Kalle never complained about the road order as much as Ogier did. In 2022 he dominated the gravel rallies despite starting first, his level of determination just hasn't been the same since. Despite his constant complaints about starting first Ogier won 8 world titles while starting first on the...
