Things are perfect as they are. We have a nice blend of Xfinity/Truck regulars and Cup driver one-offs. With its own TV network and not being Cup-lite like it was for years, the Xfinity series finally has its own identity again.

I don't think that's a given. Brad has a championship, dozens of wins, and nothing left to prove. He's ran like dog crap this year. I subscribe to the theory Brad will retire sooner than later and run RFK... outwardly he seems really invested in the team.

I agree. The drivers and teams have Next Gen figured out, SNT data is huge, and these cars were designed to race on the road courses. Turns out when that happens you get IMSA-esque racing. Which is fine.... but it's not NASCAR. It used to be so fun watching these guys drive heavy race cars...

This past weekend's fan favorite underdog locking himself into the Playoffs with a clutch win at a crown jewel event probably just bought us another year of unchanged Playoffs. I would be totally happy with Bubba winning at Indy breaking a 100-race winless streak. That is a a compelling story...
