The ARCA race on Friday starts at 4. I remember in the past the sun was getting low because of the endless wrecks and restarts. After Watkins Glen last weekend I hope the Xfinity drivers got their wrecking out of their system.

Saw that the Xfinity race at Portland doesn't start until 4:30 west coast time. I guess they're going for prime time eastern on a road course? Hmmmm

And maybe his wife is coming back so she could hop back into the Top Fueler.

The chicane is pretty popular and there's a tv screen across from us so we don't miss anything. Used to sit at the s/f line and really enjoyed the pit stops directly in front of us. Usually take a walk around the course at some point to watch but too hot this time. The general admission hill is...

I didn't agree with the penalty on Scott Dixon. Seeing it right in front of me at the race and then watching on tv was the same. Newgarden comes out right in front of Dixon and then doesn't go fast enough. If they had been racing each other a bit beforehand I would've agreed with the penalty...

Watched her improve lap times by a couple of seconds and that was it. Other drivers improved much more as practice went along. You could see everyone was a bit quicker into the "chicane" and back out.

Many years ago I met him and got an autograph. I remember I was excited about it as I didn't expect to ever see him in person and he was a very nice guy.

Feel bad for Hamilton and Leclerc this weekend. Hope they have a nice vacation and come back refreshed.

Not a baseball fan but will tune in to this for awhile just like I watched some of the game at Iowa a couple of years ago.
