There's a full page article in our newspaper today about the bad officiating. I'm not a basketball fan but have tuned in a few times just to see what it looks like. I see a lot of travelling, carrying the ball, etc. but I think the NBA has gotten like that too. Lot of fake eyelashes; not sure...

I usually record NASCAR pre-race and races. I just can't sit through all the boring talk and commercials and pace laps and yellow flag laps, etc. Pre-race is mostly useless but sometimes they have a decent segment on a driver or some other interesting subject. The wife and I have a good time...

Formula 1 grid walks with Martin Brundle are the best. He mostly points out things about the cars and where the driver qualified and the cars around them. Very informative. He also has a quick talk with celebrities and team members hanging around the grid.

Watched a lot of racing over the weekend and once again I enjoyed the Indycar race more than any other series. So many drivers that were competitive and had me wondering which one of them might win throughout the entire race. btw, watched both NASCAR races, Indy NXT, and much of Le Mans so had...

Glad he made it to age 82 with all the problems he had. He and the Beach Boys have given me years of pleasure listening to their music. I will continue to enjoy the music and think of him and what he has done as a genius to the music world.

I like both teams so just hoping for exciting games and last night was exactly that.

What about the talk of how much a driver loses in weight during a race? How is that factored in after a race?

I remember Jimmie Johnson explaining the difficulties driving an open wheel car compared to NASCAR. Made me appreciate his attempt to adapt much more.

I was excited about the final yesterday and it was a good race. I wanted him to win but Brittany Force is one of my favorites so I wasn't too upset.

Y'know, thinking back, the wife was watching Peacock on another tv so I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Maybe not but both of us watching at the same time might have contributed.

Peacock kept screwing with me so I wasn't able to enjoy the race much. Would get an error so got nothing for a bit, then kicked me out, then got another hesitation..... Wife told me to not watch it live and I probably would be ok. But shouldn't have to watch that way.

I don't understand what's going on with Tsunoda. He's a decent driver but he and the car just don't seem to jell.

I remember watching all the pre-season testing she did and her and the crew chief (?) going over video of every corner, etc. She seemed to have a handle on it and would improve as they went along. Gotta be frustrating for her now.
