23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

It seems a distinct possibility that it was always Polk/MJ’s plan to attempt to extract more from NASCAR.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

My feeling is that the teams were well aware that this could happen but didn’t think it would after Judge Jethro Bodine ruled in their favor in district court. Once it got into the hands of the circuit court they undid Judge Jethro’s mistakes. There is risk in everything & for now at least it...

Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

The problem for me is the booth is like a dog with a bone. Once they get onto something they won’t let it go. Fortunately we have remote controls with mute buttons!

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

I offer proof of nothing but it seems a lot more fans are supporting NASCAR than they were at the beginning. Just the fact that a good deal of fans seem to hate NASCAR (I know it makes no sense) automatically gave the teams built in supporters. After reading X & other commenters I was surprised...

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

It’s not over by a long shot.

23XI statement on not signing Charter agreement

Will this ruling allow the 6 drivers with the 2 teams to start looking around at other options?

Enough Is Enough Full Season Championship.

Of course I would prefer something similar to the Latford Scale but I’ve adapted quite well to the current system. I watch each race of as a standalone event that doesn’t lead to playoffs or champs. I couldn’t tell you who the current champ is or the 10 before him as it’s not on my radar. Over...

    Bonehead of the week: Chicago

Bubba for taking a potential top 10 & turning it into 29th because of a needless battle with Bowman. Bubba will probably have to point his way in so he needs good finishes.

    NASCAR on TNT

I started out at normal volume & quickly pressed the mute button. For some reason the booth annoyed me today. Also it sucks only to see the lead cars when you know there are battles everywhere

    Ty Gibbs Appreciation Thread

I’m surprised that Ty hasn’t won yet. I hope he does get one this year & it will be a springboard for more.

    NASCAR on TNT

I thought so too. To me it would have been a no brainer for TNT to dovetail off Prime.

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Chicago Street

5 Even though I wasn’t wild about the race I still really enjoyed watching SVG & others put on a show. I just didn’t care for all the cautions & wrecks.

    Hocevar....Again

I’m hoping Carson can win a race this year. He reminds me a bit of how Ryan Newman started out.

    Hocevar....Again

That’s for sure. I heard a very frustrated mother tell her child to zip it at the grocery store the other day. Someone should tell Hocevar the same thing if he’s going to be dumb.

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

I can’t remember an Indy Car season being promoted like it was this year on FOX. In my mind it was promoted far more heavily than the Daytona 500 but I have no proof. I see a lot of younger boys wearing the jerseys of soccer stars. When I engage them it is something they watch & play. They are...

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

Well I sure do appreciate you taking the time & giving me an explanation. I’ve heard people complain about it being boring or a parade but they are doing things that fans like.

    Hocevar....Again

Young Mr H was probably ok until he mentioned a certain orifice & then it couldn’t be ignored. He really needs a course on how to be vanilla where he can learn to speak for 2-5 minutes yet not say anything. Vanilla is the way to go.

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

I have a question that you probably know the answer to. I was reading that the Nashville race on Prime had 2.06 million viewers. Out of those viewers 495k were between the ages of 18-49 The F1 race that weekend averaged 1.2 million viewers but the 18-49 demo was 512k. So about 25% of NASCAR’s...

I would have never guessed that. I learn all sorts of good stuff here!

PRIME broadcast: now that’s a winner!

All I know is that networks wouldn’t be forking out billions on something they remotely felt was a dead horse.
