Kyle Whittingham would be an upgrade for Michigan and a great bridge coach for three or four years to stabilize things before his retirement.

When Goff turtles he plays about as bad as you’ll ever see anyone play at the QB position. Detroit need to go out and get a real OC this offseason. Campbell taking over playcalling halfway through the season did not help whatsoever.

So it seems the talk of OKC breaking the 73-9 mark may have been premature. San Antonio beat them for the third time in two weeks and really seem to have them figured out for the time being.

Seems like he’s reasonably competent for essentially being a gentleman driver. And really, I gotta respect the hustle of someone who loved racing first and became a successful doctor to eventually fund their passion.

Biggest problem to me is that it never should’ve gotten to 12. If we had tried 8 years ago we probably would’ve found the sweet spot and prevented a lot of unnecessary realignment as well. Now people are talking about 16, 24, 28, and it all has the potential to get out of control in a hurry...

Complete chaos in Detroit. Wow. Well, that’s probably the deserved outcome for both teams. Unfortunately the Lions took far too long to get going offensively and didn’t get enough stops in the 4th quarter.

Maybe the Lions have some life left in them after all. Whoops.

Damn good win for Jacksonville. Must’ve trailed for no more than five minutes and just dominated the second half. They’re legitimate AFC title contenders.

If the Broncos get a stop here and score a quick TD maybe I’ll believe in Mile High magic again. But that was a good stand by the Jags holding them to a FG on the last sequence.

What the Jags are doing against a top 5 defense in one of the toughest road environments of all is immensely impressive. The AFC’s top seed might be in play if they can hold on.

ESPN schedules the bigger matchups around the NFL and sublicenses the weaker games, opposite the NFL, to TNT. Next year TNT obtains two quarterfinal games and one semifinal game though. Unfortunately yesterday will probably prove to be a referendum on G6 programs.

The Bucs were built to win the NFC South and not much else. Now they can’t even do that anymore. Lots of difficult decisions to be made in the offseason. Credit to Canales for getting this Carolina team on the right track and unleashing Bryce Young’s potential.
