Well I do care what points system WE use. Watching drivers dominate the season all year long to lose the championship illegitimately because of some made up pencil necked executives ideas that a one race clown show decided the championship because they thought it looked good on their bottom line?

Sorry for your loss. The constant blinking of the scoring taking up a large part of the screen with gerbils howling while watching a couple of backmarker cars racing for the cutoff spot was spellbinding in it's own special way. :p

Who knows? But the serious fans that stay around won't need a computer to follow the clown show they had. I'm confident the gerbils at NBC will do their best to complicate it like they did making the whole race about the damn cut off car, but there are noticeable less chances for doing so.
