I can’t disagree with that at all. The Bucs are putrid right now and in need of an offseason shakeup. The Panthers’ home win over the Rams is still pretty fresh, so I can see them being a threat in the Wild Card round.

The NFC South in particular is just horrible but the first two teams out are currently the 8-8 Vikings and Lions. Playoff expansion dictates the teams below the cut line will be pretty bad too. It’s the same thing in the AFC with the 8-8 Colts being first out.

Kyle Whittingham would be an upgrade for Michigan and a great bridge coach for three or four years to stabilize things before his retirement.

When Goff turtles he plays about as bad as you’ll ever see anyone play at the QB position. Detroit need to go out and get a real OC this offseason. Campbell taking over playcalling halfway through the season did not help whatsoever.

So it seems the talk of OKC breaking the 73-9 mark may have been premature. San Antonio beat them for the third time in two weeks and really seem to have them figured out for the time being.

Seems like he’s reasonably competent for essentially being a gentleman driver. And really, I gotta respect the hustle of someone who loved racing first and became a successful doctor to eventually fund their passion.

Biggest problem to me is that it never should’ve gotten to 12. If we had tried 8 years ago we probably would’ve found the sweet spot and prevented a lot of unnecessary realignment as well. Now people are talking about 16, 24, 28, and it all has the potential to get out of control in a hurry...
