Holy **** what a run for Sheartzman

Max looked like Jimmie Johnson out there today. One display of incredible racing talent, leading in dominating fashion, and a golden horseshoe up his ass :)

Because NASCAR has made it clear they're not making wholesale changes to the Next Gen car. We've got what we've got. Nothing is changing unless it's for safety.

I have wondered that myself. If I had to guess, the drivers prefer having that extra few feet at the exit of the turn. With Indycars breaking apart a lot more than stock cars, the SAFER wall may be less effective and that extra area of usable track is ideal rather than taking it away with SAFER.

The area around the track is already real nice with a minor league baseball stadium, Great Wolf lodge/waterpark, and the casino. Tons of commercial and retail.

Ugh. This sucks. Buescher and Preece have their fast moments on-track but other than that RFK has been a disaster.

Buxton has done a great job in the booth. You can tell he is tickled pink to be announcing at Indy.

I still smile that I got to attend one of the greatest NASCAR races of all-time and arguably its greatest finish. Goosebumps watching this.

I like the "fun flag" caution. It's one gimmick in what is otherwise a relatively straight up race by All-Star standards.
