What if every race win during the regular season is a "pass" through 1 race of the playoffs. Restructuring the playoffs so that the bottom finishing playoff driver without a "pass" each race is eliminated. Just a quick thought.. idk if it's a good idea lol

I liked the 10 race format.. but there's something about seeing a team elevate when it's time that is very satisfying to me. I think every driver who has won under this format is a deserving champion and it has been more fun to watch than in previous years.

I struggle to find value in November from the results of a race run in April or May. A season long championship seems like nonsense to me. I'm surprised so many people seem to have liked it so much.
