Oh I understand the uniqueness of our sport. I just don't get caught up in the bitching about everything program. I actually love this sport. It cannot be ruined. Not possible...as long as the motors crank....and yes, I said as long as motors crank.....non of that all electric BS....Hybrids...

Well said. Listening to NASCAR Radio, and it is being discussed like it is a brand new idea. It is extremely strange with Mark Martin talking about fighting and winning to get this system. Really? Fighting? Winning?

Even if that doesn't produce attendance/TV numbers? Just on principle alone? I wonder what the TV numbers will do now. I think with the 36 race format, the fans would get bored. At least with the Chase, there is some renewed interest when it starts. There have been comparisons to F1 and Indy...

Curious....what will we use as a metric to determine whether or not this "new" system is better? Television numbers? Driver satisfaction? Social media? Mark Martin's mouth? Kenny Wallace?

Ballsy....yet interesting point. I think the benefit is more in the idea that the rich dude still wants to do this.....kinda the common man thing....one of "us." I am not sure that his dirt stuff helps NASCAR--particularly when he says that he races NASCAR to fuel his true passion which is dirt.

GR is becoming its own brand. Toyota Gazoo Racing soon will no longer exist. So, the Chevys and Fords would be racing the Gazoo Racing <insert model here>. Pretty cool on the consumer enthusiast side.....messy on race car branding.

I know that the WRC program will still be Toyota Gazoo Racing because it is too late to change for '26. In '27, they go GR. I wonder if it's a bit late in the game for a switch for the F1 program.....we will see what happens in '27.
