    500 RACE thread --- Daytona

Larson is staying with the pack with no right front fender and probably loving the challenge.

    500 RACE thread --- Daytona

Yep, being lucky enough to not get involved in the wrecks is how you "win" here.

    500 RACE thread --- Daytona

Doesn't matter to me who wins. This is a survival race. Although I would prefer someone who has hasn't won it before.

    2026 ARCA Menards Series

Which is why only 2 or 3 cars actually have a shot at winning, no matter the track. Just the qualifiying time difference is staggaring in the first 10 ten from what I have seen over the years at non plate tracks.

Corey Heim Daytona : In Plain Sight

True, but that all depends on the drivers experience and any crew chief or engineer changes if any. I have no idea as I don't follow that a whole lot in the trucks. In a search Google says Tricon will field several drivers and Daniel Dye is in the 11 for Kaulig this year. As I said, I don't...

Corey Heim Daytona : In Plain Sight

Or, he could end up with a mediocre team and mired in just ok finishes. He was in a stellar ride in trucks that was usually the fastest thing at every track and could put it places others could not. Rides like that don't come up very often. No matter where he ends up, it won't be in...

    Race pics and experiences

Came across this ticket stub in my junk drawer from Sears Point 1996. Since we lived in NorCal, I went to every race there since it started in 1989 until we moved out of state in 2005. I don't usually hang on to ticket stubs, so was surprised to see it....

    THE CLASH

Why bother? If you can't to it right, don't do it at all. They've waited this long, might as well wait until Thursday when the forecast is partly cloudy. My 2 pennies.

so what is going to be the new points system?

Well, it's definitely an improvement over the farce of "final four", rounds or win and your in garbage. Now get rid of crash inducing overtime. Either way, I look forward to the season starting much more than I have the past few years. Plus the fact they will have 750 hp back on some tracks...

    Cup RACE thread --- Phoenix

Heim did not get blocked in, plus I would never compare truck talent to Cup talent. The competition is MUCH tighter in Cup.

    Cup RACE thread --- Phoenix

Even more shocked he took 4 tires. I am definitely no Denny fan, but I don't blame anyone except Nascar for there lame drama creating "overtime" finishes. I have hated it since I saw the first guy dominate a race only to have it yanked away because of the gimmick and it has happened many...

    Cup RACE thread --- Phoenix

I quit sometime in the mid 2000's for several years after being a huge fan since the 80's. But since Kyle Larson is from our area of NorCal, I watched him grow up in Sprints and Midgets. Then when he went to stock cars around 2012. So he has been the only real reason I am been watching again...
