I knew about tire fall off, but assumed they put new tires on for qualifying. Either way, this Next Gen car is not as fast as it should be. There are several tracks where Xfinity is right with them or very close on times. Xfinity cars were also quicker in practice.

Zilich in Xfinity qualifying was nearly a second quicker than Reddick in Cup, 85.054 to 85.939. Crazy with Cup cars having independent rears, rack and pinion steering, wider tires, more gears, etc.

I will be surprised if Heim doesn't pull this off. Like every other track no matter the configuration, he can put that 11 anywhere he wants it. Must be nice! edit: Doh....of course right after I say that he starts losing time to the leader.

Heim isn't done unfortuantely. He's jumped up 12 spots since the green flag.

I remember him punting Custer at Watkins Glen on the last turn of the last lap to steal the victory in the truck series. Custer ran up to him and gave him a body slam to the ground before officials got there. JHN has a habit of doing stupid stuff

The 11 team is making a mockery out of this series. Fastest truck at just about every track they go to every single week. It gets boring with very little competition up front.

Anyone else tired of Almirola? The guy was mediocre in Cup with 3 wins in 16 years, now he's part time in a top shelf Xfinity car and taking points away from the guys that need it, including his teammates. I don't mind the guy, just hate seeing him taking wins away from guys battling for a...
