At the end of this season, I am going to attempt to "predict" how strong a driver he'll be next year. Granted, there's a massive variable in play on his seat at Gibbs, but statistically his drop off next year should only be about 5% from age. Interestingly, I hadn't thought about factoring...

Ya know, my first one had an imgur link because I didn't know I could just post charts directly, so I think that might very well be a factor. Well, I didn't really know where to start, so I kinda just see some comment on a driver and wonder how true it is, then start looking at how to quantify...

I don't know what the "magic" words are, but my first stats post was taken down as well because they thought it was some kinda different point system. So yours may have been taken down in error as well. I'd be interested in seeing those numbers, by the way.

I mean, that's certainly true, but I feel like the people who might have just casually checked it out might be tempted to come back even if not die hards.

Here's an argument to why it should be okay. Remember the quintuple OT we had last year? Imagine a driver leading the whole race, but running out of fuel around OT 3-4, and a driver who only leads the final lap comes away with more points. No method is perfect, but great performances of all...

I agree that he's a solid driver, but if I were Hendrick, I would be looking to ditch him for Hocevar in the near future. Maybe I'll explain why in a future article, because it's not even really about driving ability.
