I would recommend everyone listens to this as Gluck did a really good job. If I heard correctly if NASCAR issues a 37th charter the existing teams would have first right of refusal. That is why they want to sell one 2311’s charters outright as there is no right of first refusal going this route...

I do think that Legacy will pick up support from Toyota & JGR if 2311 goes away.

I think Reddick would be very attractive to Toyota & Legacy providing they can secure an additional charter. Presumably with new teams starting up they will be in need of drivers too. Bubba should be able to secure a ride & I understand that Herbst brings sponsorship so he should be good to go too.

2.5 I had low expectations for this race & it lived down to them. Momentum racing on a good day will not get a good score from me. I was happy to see some of the lesser lights run up front though.

If Phelps is being truthful all 6 charters will be sold in short order. Save 3 to give Junior & 3 to sell to Honda. Both teams should have been paid as unchartered teams all year. If possible I’m sure NASCAR will be looking to get reimbursed from the trans.

Any ideas on what could happen if NASCAR prevails on August 28 & then holds an auction for the 6 charters but loses its case in December?

8.5 I enjoyed the race thoroughly as it had a good pace & there were some good battles in the pack.

I’ve never heard JMc do his thing & don’t know what platform he’s on. Besides there are enough experts here to keep me informed 😁

5 SVG’s clinic was magnificent but at the same time the race certainly wasn’t a barn burner.

I’m wondering what happens if NASCAR is victorious on August 28. Will they put 6 charters in inventory or will they sell 3 to Junior at a heavily discounted price? 😁 How would this impact the actual trial?
