It’s definitely under consideration and I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens. For the reasons already laid out, I also wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen. Bold stance, I know. But I think every party involved holds at least some level of interest in making it a reality.

The prospective D.C. event would take up the date of August 23rd, which is smack in between the Markham and Milwaukee weekends. David Land said his understanding is that it would actually take the place of one of the Milwaukee races so that the calendar remains at 17, and that makes me even less...

Report: Charlotte Chase race to be run on the oval

It was 100% the correct and an innovative move at the time and was a huge hit for the first four runnings or so. It just fell victim to NextGen road racing more than anything, although this past year’s was an improvement.

Report: Charlotte Chase race to be run on the oval

I think it’s a fine decision, but I hope next year they manage to move another road course into the Chase. As it is now, there won’t be any such races after Sonoma at the end of June.

    NFL 2025-26

It would not have been nearly as bad as when LaFleur opted to kick the FG just outside the 2:00 warning in the ‘21 NFCCG, but I think the fear that you don’t give your team enough time to get the ball back into scoring position again is stronger than forcing yourself into the position of needing...

    NFL 2025-26

It’s almost a shame teams can’t play four times in a season because these two delivered in each matchup this year. Xavier Smith gotta be sick to his stomach.

McVay was correct in that the Rams aren’t going to get the ball again. Maybe Seattle play with a little more pucker if they’re only only up 1 rather than 4, but they scored on most of their possessions and it’s fair to think his defense wouldn’t be able to get the ball back.

It looked like the Seahawks were going to wilt in the face of adversity. Great stand.

I hate that call anytime, but especially after a big play in a huge spot like that. They’re grown men, let them talk some ****.

What an absurd turn of fortune in two plays. Wow.

Rams defense just doesn’t have the juice and Darnold is exorcising those demons from last year’s playoff matchup against LA as a Viking.

    2026 Rolex 24 Daytona

I know a lot of people aren’t going to be thrilled with a PPM three-peat, but that was a damn impressive victory. They unloaded the quickest at the Roar and kept their pace throughout the whole week. The Acura drivers insisted despite inheriting the pole that the Porsches were the ones to beat...

Thiim drove the 27 off the track twice within the final two hours, to take and then retain the lead, so you get what you give as far as I’m concerned.

There’s a reason Jim France wanted to put him in a Cup car at a road course, too:

I’ve seen the Porsches pretty consistently hitting 195 into the Bus Stop and 202 into turn 1 when they’ve had telemetry up. If they ran them at minimum BoP parameters they could rip probably around 210 without a draft. I think that’s what top speeds at Le Mans have been in recent years too.
