I'm sure you could have gotten cheaper tickets if you wanted. Jets/Giants tickets near me don't cost that much to get in the building even when the teams are actually good. NHL/NBA and MLB tickets are even less.
Ticket prices at NASCAR aren't the issue. It's the hotel costs if you actually want...
You can't compare racing to stick and ball sports. I don't have to drive a few hours or pay ridiculous hotel fees to go watch my favorite local sports teams. Even if the tickets are more the cost is still cheaper than a race.
Truex pussed out. Should have wrecked Logano and not have allowed him to win the championship like he's been yapping about since Martinsville. All talk, no balls. Lost respect for him tonight.
While they don't have the ratings they use to in the late 90s, early 00s WWE is still doing really well. They pull in 70k for WrestleMania every year and just made a billion dollar television deal with FOX. I'm sure we'll be seeing the advertisements a lot during the races next year.
UFC may not be doing that well for every ppv but they just broke their ppv buys record last month.

I'm surprised anyone even cares about the pit stall nonsense. We already have a ridiculous format that decides the champion, does this pit stall nonsense really make it any more illegitimate than it already comes across?
Fun race but the format still sucks. Didn't even care who won the championship cause I don't mind any of the final four but with the season Bell had its ridiculous that he isn't the final champion but oh well, it is what it is.
Can't stand Salder so I'm glad he's finally gone.
I prefer sitting high near turn 4 because I like being able to see the guys coming into the pit. There isn't a bad seat though but I wouldn't sit in the lower sections.
This will be the second year in a row I don't make a trip down to Dover after not missing a race for almost a decade. Just...
I don't need to see them on this track though, Texas either really, the speeds are crazy fast and they are too close to each other on these configurations.
Give me more road courses, this isn't F1, the racing will still actually be entertaining.
