I think they can figure out how to race at the super-speedways with a shorter spoiler. Drag is obviously the main issue with the Cup car at Daytona and Talladega. The front spitter seems to be maxed out, so short of reconfiguring the bodies, that's the only option short of lowering the car even...

My bad, I was confusing wheel diameter with tire width. I meant going back to 10.5" width from the current 12.5"

Go back to 15" wide tires if all else fails.

KB doesn't seem as motivated at RCR as he was at JGR, plus he's admitted to not knowing how to communicate what changes the new car needs on race weekend. As a fan now that he's back in a Chevy, I'm holding out hope the lower downforce/more horsepower is his saving grace.
