    TRD Appreciation Thread

Listening to NASCAR Radio, and the NASCAR World is melting down over "Toyota cheating." Love this. Nobody accuses an OEM of cheating when they are slow. This sport eats itself.

Desperation has set in. Be patient. This sport is cyclical.

    Nascar Talladega Spring Pre-Race Thread.

I think that you need to look at each engine package as its own thing, right? Regardless, you keep talking about the HP like it is something that needs to be fixed. Is that what you are saying? Everybody had the same rule book, right?

Kaulig Racing and Dodge to Cup Series in 2027

I would agree. Maybe it is part of the Toyota deal. This is the first time for US to have two Tier 1 teams with TRD as the builder. With that being said, JGR was not happy with Legacy coming onboard as a Tier 1....so unless they felt that Legacy could do something for them......dunno.

That's last year? Don't think so....he is no longer worthy of that red patch on his fire suit.

    TRD Appreciation Thread

Thanks for asking. David Wilson (former TRD President) always talked about the five elements of winning.....In no particular order: 1) Aero, 2) Engine, 3) Set up, 4) Pit performance, 5) Race strategy. So that is winning, but in terms of performance......1) Aero is very good....lots of downforce...

Kaulig Racing and Dodge to Cup Series in 2027

Exactly....and I think you are correct which explains some of the performance deficit. With that being said, it is interesting to me that the recent narrative has been information sharing between Legacy and JGR. Jimmie wanted to go his own way, but maybe not?

    The saga of Kyle Bush.

Sure, but that is a RCR thing. The argument is that JGR has more money. I doubt that. This isn't a Chain Gang thing where The Felon has his paws in lots of different revenue sources, right? I hate money. Just throwing that out there.

    The saga of Kyle Bush.

For sure, but it's all relative, right? Poor Richard wants the narrative out there that he is just a blue collar guy trying to find meal money in NASCAR. He is just fine. The team sucks. I don't think this is about money.

@StandOnIt chose Legacy because that is the only Toyota thing he can bash at this point in this season. They just hired a new COO. Building. They had an alliance I believe with the Chain Gang when they were with Chevy. That will get you more immediate results. Jimmie is playing the long game...

Kaulig Racing and Dodge to Cup Series in 2027

TRD gives them everything they give JGR. Everything. Do they have the level of talent to process that information? Yes, but it takes time to get to where JGR is. This is a new team. If this team was a mess, why would they be expanding, and why wouldn't they have sponsorship issues? It isn't that...

    OLYMPUS RALLY

Jari-Matti won the rally by 7 minutes--which is an eternity, but expected. Seth had a very nice second place. The GR Corolla was flawless. A great weekend for Toyota. The coolest part of all of this is that my home Toyota dealership hosted the event. Proud weekend for this lifetime Toyota guy.
