Not the first time he’s had brake issues in this early portion of the season with Andretti.
Pole for Palou but he took a new set of softs for the Fast 6. Graham (P3) and Kirkwood (P5) both saved an additional set for the race.
It’s very funny that we’re still doing these charades to pretend the cars definitely aren’t losing 35 MPH while full throttle. Not sure who the hell they think they’re fooling here, but they’re committed.
I was surprised he even played a second season at UAB. Even by American Conference standards, they don’t have a whole lot of player payroll available. He probably could’ve cashed in at a high major a season earlier but it worked nicely the way it all played out.
Great man with some great moments as a HC, mostly against Duke. But it was going to be hard to come back from another R64 exit as a result of a blown 19-point lead.
Very good to see IMSA restore a presence at LRP again. The MPC headliner should be fun and is probably the appropriate level of sports car racing to be held there now - GT3 cars just have gotten too quick for a bullring like that.

McCollum is one of those guys where you wonder how he spent so much time winning in DII before getting noticed. Pure winner. Not sure how long Iowa can hold onto him (could see him at KU before too long), but he’s just an awesome coach.
