Mopar provided the tech on the engines, they won't have to start from scratch like say a Honda would. Penske did a lot of work ( and very well I might add) but they aren't years away from producing a competitive engine with Mopars help.

Not sure what you mean. The engine may require different mounting points but the drive train will be the same. As far as the engine Dodge has a history of building Cup motors so that's not gonna be an Problem. Dodge is ready for Cup and I expect them to be in next year.
