    Kansas Speedway Spring Pre-Race Thread.

Anyone know how they decide start position in a dead even tie? I always thought it was whomever qualified first got the better postion. But saw baby Gibbs and Larson were dead even, yet Gibbs got 3rd and Larson 4th even though he went before the silver spoon kid. No big deal either way...

    The saga of Kyle Bush.

Exactly from the post #82 above. He's never been good with this car, but of course everyone wants to blame RCR. Last year he was on spin cycle all by himself at several of the races. Great drivers adapt.

He doesn't quite have the luxury of being in a Gibbs Toyota.

That was the best racing I've seen in a long time. Hopefully the Cup race can match it. And yes, Brent Crews is a phenom for his young age of barely 18. Hits the wall twice and never gave up.

In his interview, that guy was definitely stoked after his top five in ARCA. Internet personalities do nothing for me but good on him for bringing more fans to the sport.

That Cletus guy is sure getting a lot of attention. I never even heard of him until a couple of weeks ago. Was looking for him on the ARCA leaderboard when they said he was in 4th but couldn't find his name anywhere on the rundown. Did a search on him and found his real last name is...

Both the trucks and ARCA were pretty much snoozers except for the late charge by the 11 in trucks that was symied by a lapper. Neither series seems to have the tight competition they should have, especially ARCA. The qualifying and practice was 30 mph difference between 1st and 20th. That...

Wish I could have seen it in normal broadcast instead of the Battlecam. When it was over the only camera showed Sawalich get out of his car and shortly after he took his helmet off, it panned over to Gray getting in Kvapils face over something and stayed there until the broadcast ended...

They are obnoxious especially when you have nobody at the track talking and all you hear are the cars. Having no rundown of where they are except the the top 4 is really aggravating also.

Well this sucks, the screen on our TV went black and Directv came on and said it was on their end. So I tried streaming it from the CW website, and it's just the "battlecam" with no running order or hosts talking. But the commercials are working fine naturally.

Hamlin is gracious in defeat and certainly a lot more humble than he used to be. I was impressed with the lappers getting out of the way the last few laps.

All true and I don't deny. It's just not a good look at that level.

They said drove Ryan into the wall, but did they replay it? If so, I never saw it.

The only reason I don't care for Caruth is putting his hands behind his back during the National Anthem when everyone else has their hands on their heart. Must be the former Marine in me. Besides "Noosegate", my issue with Bubba is he sometimes cannot control his temper as we just saw. But...

Yeah, when he finally pulled in to pit, the guys that had already been in were 2 seconds a lap quicker.

    Truck RACE thread ----

Good race, except for the gimmick called "overtime" that hands the win to someone who didn't lead a single lap in the real race. Seems like 90% of them end like that. *Sigh*

Yes, the sport has evolved, but talent is talent no matter what era. He would have figured these cars out.

You don't know that, it's apples and oranges. Completely different cars. He came from the no power steering or cool suit era.

Doh! Austin Dillion 12th, teammate KDB 28th.
