I always liked and respected Newman but he’s kinda a dick and bully sometimes.

Don’t confuse his frequent forays into the bush leagues to pad his win totals as meaning he is elite compared to the rest of the top drivers. Stats are impressive and I agree he would do better in better equipment, but he’s no David Pearson, Dale Earnhardt, or Jimmy Johnson.

The hypocrisy is incredible. I hated Harvick driving for that bitch RC and it didn’t get any better when he was driving Fords. He was still a wannabe bully. But it comes with fandom I guess. I didn’t like Ernie in the 4 but it changed when he drove the 28. He definitely matured by then.

100%. I’ve said this forever. He’s a badass when there is someone there to “hold him back”. His last 2 bitch moves were Bristol approaching Chase with his helmet on then proclaiming he felt like ripping off someone’s head. Then at the Roval he wrecked Chase then wrecked himself over driving...

Don’t know about always….Noah got a lesson not too long ago. But yeah, their entourage is there to break it up. Kevin Harvick used this ALL the time. He never got physically feisty until he had people there to “hold him back”.
