Not sure I like Hocevar leading at this point in the race. You don’t wanna be leading until the final lap in this type of “racing.”

One good thing about today in terms of NASCAR is that I did get 100 bonus NASCAR Fan Rewards points for my birthday. I didn’t even know that happened haha.

Daytona and Talladega are supposed to be the races casuals watch, btw lol. If I was watching this race with someone who wasn’t a fan, I’d feel secondhand embarrassment.

Yeah, it’s always been in really bad taste to me how the networks sensationalize these superspeedway wrecks.

Ride around half throttle for half the race, push hard for a few laps, Big One. Rinse and repeat. Talladega and Daytona are becoming my two least favorite tracks.

I get some racing on my birthday, which is nice...wish it was somewhere else instead of this cursed track (that's not a joke, btw, the land was allegedly cursed), but I'll take it anyway.

9/10. Felt like a classic style plate race. Exactly what Cup's plate racing should be. First time winner that had it coming for a while too.
