And at the end of the day one of their drivers won the championship. Gains vs penalties. Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Sure I bet HMS also accidentally went over the wind tunnel time in 2020. Dang we'll report ourselves....take small penalty. Then the 9 team proceeds to improve speed and win a championship. Teams will always weigh the gains vs consequences Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Is 75 points really that huge? We have a system where points don't really matter anymore as long you win you get a playoff birth. Look how far mcdowell was last year in the points and he still got into the playoffs because he had a victory. I'm sure a lot of teams would be willing to take a 75...

Then why even have rules to drop the hammer and on someone as a deterrent to prevent people from breaking said rules if in the end you actually have no power to enforce them? We're going to have huge fines for anyone caught testing.... until they appeal it and turns out it's not really that big...

More seems like a festival that has a race as a side show. But the sanctioning body isn't trying to get people like the ones on here to show up to this thing, we're already fans.

Part of me likes these guys spinning out without help as it means the car is hard to drive. The other part of me worries that it might be too hard to drive and they won't be able to race around each other.

I heard on Sirius the other day (can't remember who) said that rumors are that around 60k tickets have been sold and of those tickets somewhere around 60% are first time race attending fans.

I just brought up why they switched because they wanted true dyno numbers not a number that could be manipulated by using a chassis dyno.

It's possible, they pull engines from time to time and do them. Was funny Todd Gordon said Nascar used to check them with a chassis dyno but then after the magnet incident with TRD they now completely pull the engine and dyno them.

Definitely possible I know it's faster with the single lug. Just not sure how many stops it's still going to matter on where they would need to wait for fuel otherwise Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk

Different so they have both changers go around the front of the car to start. They must think there's some advantage to it, not sure what yet. I wouldn't think you'd want 2 hoses doing that due to risk of tangle. Also seems odd if this is some new advantage why post it on social media for...

It sounds like a lot but that cubic inches not diameter. So that's not much on a diameter considering volume is V=pi*r^2*h. So they probably missed the bore by a couple thousandth. Still illegal but not grossly missed it like they were measuring with a plastic ruler Sent from my SM-G991U...
