    Xfinity RACE thread --- Rockingham

Damn! Had to dig my ticket out of the recycle can! Guess I learned a lesson to give it a day or two LOL!

Craftsman Truck Series at Rockingham Speedway Pre-Race Thread.

If it's curved toward to finish line they couldn't hit the end though unless going backwards. I know- anything can happen. We've all seen areas get hit and cars going places we thought were impossible(infield, parking lot) but I always cringe when I see the end of a pit wall in a relatively easy...

Craftsman Truck Series at Rockingham Speedway Pre-Race Thread.

Wondering if it would be possible to put a short 4 to 5 foot wall curved inward( like the left side parentheses) with barrels in front of it at the end of the pit road wall so the end is not able to be hit head on. That has always scared the heck out of me- head on into the end of a wall is not...

    Daytona attendee veterans

I have a question(3) for all the vets(for Daytona 500 not military vets) of attending the 500. We are in a lull at work and I have the opportunity to take some unexpected time off. Flights are pretty cheap right now and I can fly to Orlando or Key West for under $400 from Portland, OR.(might...

Random NASCAR Stuff to talk about.....

That's too bad- but not unexpected. I don't know if any SoCal old timers on here remember speedway 605? I believe it was across the 605 freeway from the current track- on the east side of the 605. My parents( had a separate division for the women)raced there in "claimer" stocks on Saturday...

    Backing in

When I ran service plumbing (only do large construction now) one company required us to back into customers driveways (space available), another company wanted us to park on the street with the van/ company logo over our shoulder as front door was opened. I liked 2nd one better.

    Backing in

I back into my driveway, I have a hatchback (Rav4) so saves steps unloading and easier to pull out. Usually just pull in to public spots.

    OG Jeopardy

Before I ever heard of "Original Gangsta" I knew it to mean "Old Guard". Pretty much a prison and biker term.

    California Speedway Demo / Rebuild

It sucks to lose a track but everytime I see cranes erected I just think of all the great high paid skilled labor jobs that are created. Best way to tell how well a city is doing economically is how many cranes you see in the skyline.

    Move when ready

Take a look at them and how they work and then come back and tell me if you still think legality is still highly questionable or maybe just somewhat questionable LOL! I've had mine over 4 years.

Here is today's PPV available. Events 10-16. Events 1-9 were wrestling, boxing and ufc so I scrolled to events with racing. No subscriptions

    Move when ready

I know I've posted this before- but I'll post it again for my race viewing challenged brothers and sisters. Check out a device called Superbox. I get everything. Football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, all kinds of sports as well as channels that carry nascar. Flotv, mav TV, lots of ppv...

    Rest in Peace Auto Club

It's a shame seeing another SoCal track die. I never went to Autoclub but as a kid I had multiple trips to Riverside and Ontario. Hope they build the short track but I doubt it- land is just too damn valuable.

    Hendrick Motorsport News

And the Liberty University connection is why I just cannot get behind Byron or the 24 car(I was a big J.G. fan), Jerry Falwell was a despicable human being and the apple sure didn't fall far. I am old enough to remember his "Moral Majority" in the 80's- absolutely horrible people.

What kind of car do you drive?

Picked up a Rav4 end of July. Love it. Still hurts a little to have traded in my 06 Tundra- but did have 260k miles and the drive train was strong but lots of little things kept coming up. And getting more than twice the gas mileage does not suck. Only problem so far is I can't find the slot...

CUTTING THROUGH THE bull****....WHO WINS THIS THING?

I think Byron or Truex. I'm a Larson fan but just too inconsistent. I'd be ok with Truex, want to be ok with Byron(former Gordon fan) but just can't be ok with the Liberty university connection.

    Kurt Busch Presser at Vegas?

There's a couple articles floating around that are saying 23XI bought out Reddicks contract from Childress so that would make sense to do that if Kurt is calling it a career
