I'm beginning to get less confident about my prediction, but the goof news is I have all season for things to take a turn in my favor lol.

For the racing itself, I'm gonna go 8/10. Can't really go any higher for a rain-shortened race, unfortunately...especially with how frustrating the back and forth was at the end.

Ultimately I think calling it was the right call and I'm happy that we got most of the distance in AND it was actual racing and not constant cautions. But man, the weather officiating was terrible. Would've been better to just keep it red flagged during that lightning caution instead of jerking...

Kinda lame. The constant stop and go the last half hour was really pathetic officiating. Oh well. The racing itself was great and at least we got close to the full distance.

I appreciate the attempt to get this to the finish, but the weather officiating has been appalling.

Wonder if that was a false call or whether they just said “f the 30 minute clock” lol. Not gonna complain, the 30 minute rule is broken.

The sound mixing is sooooo much better than Fox, and even NBC.

We’ve passed 400 miles. So at least if it ends up being shortened (I’m not convinced), we got a full normal length race in. And at least one of the three races this weekend had actual green flag action.

I guess I’m going against the grain, because I would be shocked if the rain ends up being a washout.

This feels a lot “racier” than Texas, Vegas and Kansas did. Can’t really explain why.

It’s kinda crazy to me that Elliot has still yet to win a crown jewel.
