Oh man, I had done so good avoiding social media so I could watch the truck race this afternoon. I forgot Kyle was running in the trucks last night and thought this would be a safe non spoiler thread. Oh well, will still enjoy watching. :D

I think Cup is king. Better equipment, better drivers, better racing throughout the field. My interest in both trucks and X seem to fluctuate during the year. Early on I watch them all, but as the season progresses they become hit or miss. There is nothing wrong with small teams trying to...

I get that. We used to do that and stayed in Key Largo quite a few times. But going down there and to the Keys doesn’t have the same appeal anymore since we have done it so many times and live relatively close. I really just wanted to run down for a race.

This track is a little over 125 miles from where I live north of Miami. I have been there many times. I really would have liked to go down this weekend for a race but all three of the races will end at night, which would mean a return trip through Miami at night which isn't one of my favorite...

Exactly what I was concerned about and hopefully now the kid now understands this isn't like racing at your local go kart track. I am just glad it wasn't worse.
