So many teams are lucky if they even turn a small profit. Maybe Haas can pony up $40M without a factory support deal, but you think Tony wants to share in that? Heck no. Without support I can see them selling a couple of these.

That’s a huge reshuffle and major cut for track owners. Anyone think NASCAR is willing to do something like that AND leave charters...

What any of us know is almost nothing, since all anyone says is corporate speak, which is understandable. You sense no issues, I sense concern. Kenny Wallace, who is far more connected than any of us, says there are serious issues with the charter negotiations. I’ll take that as legit.

Charter prices were never higher than recently, although their value may be slipping due to the stuck negotiations with NASCAR on renewals. Car teams facilities, equipment, even driver contracts have some value, but the charters represent the majority $$$ to these owners. Gotta have some folks...
