    Passion in NASCAR

That passion and motivational response is the same thing that makes the wild west popular, makes survival shows popular, makes war movies popular, it is what makes football popular... dangerous and a lot of bravado.

    Xfinity RACE thread --- Rockingham

Even a smidgen of flex will allow for more torque flex, which helps the transition of power to the ground. It is the reason a fifth coil system with mono leafs or even coils is so much more effective on dirt tracks.

Betch'a Parker Retzlaff wishes he would have given Sammy a tap between 3 and 4... he ran up to Smith, and Smith covered the bottom. Instead of giving him a love tap, Parker swung high. He should have moved him... it would have been Parker's first win.

    Xfinity RACE thread --- Rockingham

Quite a few drivers are being, what I perceive, a bit over aggressive. Love especially, but he is not alone. One is already out of the race, but I predict there will be more.

Sounds like opinion, the inside lane was wide open, Sanchez even missed her on the inside.

For what she had for equipment, I believe she was doing fine. Actually, better about ten cars out there.

I disagree, first, Reddick hitting the wall was no more than anyone else did during the race. Including the time Blaney did it with Bubba right behind him earlier in the race. Second, Bubba had multiple lanes to avoid Larson... and the time. Either Bubba is inept, or he took the opportunity...

Johali's Rate the Cup race --- Darlington

There were a couple of things that might have a bearing on my rating. The fact that whom I was rooting for did not win, well neither of those I wanted to win at the beginning of the race won. But one of them was close, so, so close. Then there was what I perceive as an intentional punt. That is...

Nope... it was definitely a punt. Bubba had two lanes outside.

I Just Lost All Respect for Taylor Gray

Really? Gray did not move Smith earlier in the race? Are you sure?

Totally anticlimactic race. This latest iteration of a NASCAR Cup car is not conducive to the short tracks. Both the Xfinity and the Truck vehicles made a more interesting race. At least to me. This was almost like watching a go kart race with plastic bodies.

How often has there been cautions for losing wheels when they had five lug nuts? With the current system, it would not be a stretch as to say they average at least one a race with this set up. Averaged out of course, last week there was three of them.

Instead of explaining for the umpteenth time as to how to properly mount these morphydite wheel systems, go back to five lugs and be done with it. Sheesh....
