This is for Watkins Glen from sportsmediawatch NASCAR Watkins Glen ratings lowest in at least 20 years While ratings have increased for several NASCAR races this season, the declines are starting to pile up. Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race from Watkins Glen (N.Y.) averaged a 1.7 rating and...

    BUBBA WALLACE FINISHED SECOND!

You totally missed my point. As requested <_< I wrote a list of drivers who have clearly more talent than Wallace and who should have gotten that job BEFORE Wallace did. Based on what they do on track and not on "marketability" or whatever 10-dollar word they use now. If you seriously think...

    BUBBA WALLACE FINISHED SECOND!

the fanboys can say whatever they want. Facts tell a different story. Based on his results, not just this year, but ever since he joined NASCAR Bubba Wallace doesn't deserve to be where he is. There are a lot of drivers, like the one I listed, who have much more talent than him but who will...

    BUBBA WALLACE FINISHED SECOND!

ok, so apparently there are things that even in this forum cannot be said... so let me rephrase. In the last couple of years he has shown nothing in terms of talent and results and there are at least a dozen drivers more talented than him that should have gotten that seat. So what is the reason...

    NASCAR Death Bed

I have mine as well NASCAR fanboys: Everything is perfect, gimmicks are fun, ratings and attendance don't count Other people: (worried for the future of the sports) it would be easy to fix NASCAR and bring it back to its former glory NASCAR fanboys: It is in profit! you are a deathbedder...

Joey Logano - 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion!

It got started by counting the points... The sport has been destroyed not by the fans, but by the CEO/Top Managers/whoever has been in charge and made wrong decisions in the past 5/10 years

they don't say that but they lose interest. And that is exactly the story that ratings and attendance have been saying for years.

Joey Logano - 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion!

Anybody can say anything. I can say that under my rules whoever wins a race around my block in the ULTIMATE CHAMPION OF THE UNIVERSE... but that doesn't mean that he really is. It's what people think that really matters, the perception that your audience has. And if people think that...

Absolutely! Nobody has ever said that...And nobody is rooting for that. But predicting further drops in ratings, if NOTHING CHANGES, it's not being "doom and gloom". It's just being realistic. Only silly people behave in the same way but expect different results. And that's exactly what NASCAR...

honestly I don't think that's the reason why ratings are declining so fast. Overexposure is present in every major sport. What about the NBA, the MLB, the NFL ? If I had a dime every time I come across a channel with a show where they talk about the NFL I'd be rich by now.
