“What is the prime age of a modern day NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver?

I don't know if you can really pin down the "prime age" of any driver. Each is an individual and each will "mature" at different ages.

Harry Gant and Bobby Allison were still winning in their fifties. And that was in the days when the cars were no where near as comfy or safe as they are now. Plus I think this generation are far more health conscience. So who knows? Look at Tom Brady, a much tougher sport physically, and he's as good as ever at 40. I guess it just depends on the individual.

I agree...... Mark Martin was still a threat to win in his 50's......
