I found this to be a bit ironic. Regan Smith gets into the Daytona 500 because Tony Stewart (We all know the controversial finish the last restrictor plate points race between Smith and Stewart) was the highest finishing go or go home car. And at the same time Joe Nemechek was 2nd on the speed list to the #78 car which her drove last year. As for Keselowski i was cheering him on till he got out of line to block Stewart with 4 to go which costed him making the race. Speaking of the 09 i dont care for Nascar saying the 09 cant buy its way into the top 35 yet they let John Andretti buy his way into the ride. They need to make it consistant before this happends again next year. Either let it be a free for all to buy a spot into the field or no one gets to buy there way into the field.

My understanding of it is that EGR entered Andretti's car with the 41's owners points and gave Mayfield car number 41. Andretti is a team car to Regan Smith at Bob Jenkins and Furniture Row's Denver based team and I think they're getting their engines and chasis from Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing.

#29-Harvick, #39-Newman, #82-Speed, #34-Andretti, #77-Hornish Jr., #17-Kenseth are, so far, the only ones starting at the rear for pulling out the backup car...

they showed Harvicks team rollin out the backup car at the end of practice today....

he got into the wall in the last practice session today.......

could be worse though..... he was already 32nd, so its not that far of a fall, and the backup car is the one that won last week.

Wonder if he accidently on purpose hit the wall

now surely you wouldn't suggest that a NASCAR driver would exploit a rule to help gain an advantage in the biggest race of the season......lol

Ryan Newman will start the race in his 2nd backup car and Tony Stewart will start in a backup.
