11 Most intelligent Nascar Crew Chiefs

Interesting #2 Todd Parrot, Almirola's chief. I like that pick, I probably wouldn't have picked him for 2nd, but after reading the article, I can dig it.

Okay, I haven't looked, but can there be any suspense about who's #1? Gotta be Cheatin' Chad.

Can't say I disagree with the number 1 pick.
I just wonder if Chad could do just as well with another driver.

Probably. He was CC'ing for his father in his early teens...he obviously has the passion. Plus he worked under Ray Evernham for a few years as a tire changer for Jeff Gordon.

Paul Wolfe would be first or second on my list.
Letarte third, Jr was in the dumps and Letarte helped him.

No question, Chad should be #1.

Todd Parrott #2? What is this 1999? All due respect to Mr. Parrott, NASCAR is a "what have you done for me lately" business. Is there anybody on this forum, if they were going to be a NASCAR driver and could pick their crew chief, would pick Parrott over anybody listed below him?

I pretty much agree with the rest of the list, although Wolfe should be much higher. I would put Wolfe at #4.

Bootie Barker...fact 'cause I said it.

I like Bootie , some guys struggle ,with less resources to work with . Some guys have it pretty easy like the Hendrick guys . Course they are Hendrick guys because they are smart. Todd Berrier is another guy doing a lot with very little.

Bootie knows his business and, IMO;), Todd Berrier is one of the best.

Been a Todd Berrier fan since he was Harvick's crew chief.
