118 FREEWAY WAS SHUT DOWN FOR 5 HRS

because of some distraught guy that wanted to jump from the overpass.......

DE was sopposed to go that way to go to a job this morning, but he had to divert another way and go..he finally made it like 2 hours later.......but.....
I feel for the commuters that had to sit in the heat for 5 hours long because of that one guy....they finally talked him into coming down.....

DE just called to find out if it was clear to come home that way..said yep.....so he is on his way home now....should be about 45 minutes or so.... :)
 
Hey, don't feel bad, a guy down here actually jumped from one back in 2002.
 
I really feel for everbody stuck out in the heat, but that poor jumper. Just think what it must be to have a life that bad. :(
 
Wow, i heard it was really hot there today to,

glad he did not jump, that would have made things a lot worse.

We had a guy jump off a dorm at murray state a few years ago, he had rope tyed around his waste and was going to jump and climb back up the building, but the rope was to long.....his g.f got it on tape. :(
 
We have that here every now and then.

I would think that if I wanted to assume room temperature that bad I would find a quicker way to do so without disturbing everybody else <_<
