Tomorrow, 5 Pearl Harbor survivors will be re-united with their shipmates.
1 will return to the Utah, 1 will return to the Arizona. 3 will have their ashes scattered in the harbor.
My use of "*boys" is in the most respectful sense, they gave us everything they had, everything they were. They were heroes, and still so young.
The WW2 vets used to sell fireworks every fourth of July near my house, I always bought from them specifically, and thanked them as respectfully as possible.
Wish I could have bought them lunch, or even mowed their lawn, their the greatest imo.
Worthy of total respect.
