Notice the every average per day category is significantly higher during the last 7 day period than the monthly average. Things are definitely picking up.

Congrats Paul and also to your great moderators, all of you do a really great job on this site. I don't post alot just a few here and there. But I have noticed I have to check in to read a couple of times a day or there are so many posts built up it is hard to get through. So I could tell the traffic in here has increased. And the numbers of new members seems to change daily (going up). You should feel alot of pride in the hard work I am sure you have put into this site. And even with the increase in members you still stay on top of everything going on. :calpping: :satisfied Thank-you for keeping this site worth reading and being a part of.

THOSE ARE GOOD NUMBERS PAUL. ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO, I HEARD THAT AMIZON.COM WAS GETTING 9 MILLION HITS/MONTH.
 
A hit is every single page view. Like when you go to the NASCAR board that's a hit, when you click on a thread and read it, that's a hit, when you go back to the NASCAR board that's a hit. With 10 million a month, that's a lot of page views. Good money in that kind of ad exposre. But I won't put ads on every page. Just a few ads for those companies that make products I like are on the main page.

Amazon probably gets 9 million distinct hosts served, where I get 10,000 distincts hosts served.

Seriously, Paul congratulations.......you've got to know you have a great site here. Bet you are so proud! I can't imagine how much work keeping this forum running as smooth as it does. I've never been dumped only a couple of failed connects and that one weekend problem with the chat room (but that could have very well been a problem with my computer)! One hell of a site, Paul.
And I want to thank you for it too:)
 
I dont know if your paying for hosting on this site but some places offer free hosting for the amount of hits you get just for you to put a little banner up

Are those unique hits, as in 15 million different people or is it return visits? Say I come here 20 times a day, does it count me once for that day, or 20 times?
